SECTION 4 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We coordinate delivery services to destinations within Europe in cooperation with premium international carriers, utilizing priority fulfillment services including DHL Priority, FedEx Priority, and UPS Priority.

  1. Order Processing: Upon receipt of an order, processing and preparation for dispatch will require between 1 and 3 business days.
  2. Transit Duration: Following the processing period, the standard transit duration for orders destined for Europe is between 4 and 11 business days.
  3. Automated Tracking: To ensure comprehensive visibility, automated logistics communications will be transmitted directly to the email address provided during checkout at critical milestones, specifically: when the order is dispatched from our facility, upon arrival at the intermediary logistics hub, and when the shipment is assigned for local delivery.
  4. Delivery Delays: In the event that a shipment exceeds the standard processing and delivery timeline, we will initiate a formal investigation with the respective carrier. Based upon the factual findings and resolution of the carrier inquiry, we will arrange either a full reimbursement of the transaction value or dispatch a replacement shipment at no additional charge to the customer.

SECTION 5 – TRANSFER OF RISK AND OWNERSHIP

In strict compliance with European consumer legislation, the risk of loss, damage, or destruction of the goods, alongside the legal title of ownership, transfers to you solely at the precise moment when you, or a designated third party authorized by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the items. The risk of loss does not transfer to the consumer upon the handover of items to the logistics carrier.

SECTION 6 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD)

If you are a consumer residing within Europe, you possess a statutory right to withdraw from this purchase contract within 14 calendar days without providing any reason or justification.

  1. Exercise of Right: The withdrawal period will expire after 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the final item in your order.
  2. Notification: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement sent via email to plant@rootcradlehome.com within the stipulated 14-day period.

SECTION 7 – FAULTY, DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED GOODS

We hold our products to strict quality criteria. If you receive an item that is faulty or has been damaged during transit, please contact our customer service team via email at plant@rootcradlehome.com within 14 calendar days of delivery.

  1. Required Evidence: To process a resolution efficiently, you are requested to provide digital photographic evidence clearly depicting the defect or damage via email.
  2. Resolution Mechanism: Upon verification of the photographic evidence, we will arrange for a full reimbursement of the affected order value or prepare a replacement shipment.
  3. Return Policy for Damaged Items: Customers are not required to physically return the broken or damaged items to our warehouse facility once the photographic evidence has been submitted and approved.
